UUDEN VEROINEN MIKKI!The Crystal Shaker is a Hi-Z microphone with more of an accurate sound, with less tonal coloration than the Dynamic. Some call it cleaner, we say it has more acoustic clarity. Yet it breaks up with true ice pick in the ear crystal distortion characteristics when pushed hard. When you need to cut through a thick rhythm section, this mic has the "in your face" presence and crystal edge to get the job done. This mic has also has fantastic feedback rejection and is housed in the same casing as the dyno, so it's just as easy to hold. This is our original Shaker microphone. It was born in 1992. And we're really proud of it! It also has the 11 detent volume control.
